The information was released by the website “The Hollywood Reporter”. According to the publication, Wahlberg will play a CIA agent in Indonesia responsible for taking a compromised informant to an airport 22 miles away from the city. On the way, however, he will face resistance from corrupt police officers, criminals and members of the local guerrillas who try to stop him.
Ronda's role in the film has not yet been confirmed, but the blonde is expected to be part of the CIA team deployed for the mission. In addition to Whalberg and Rousey, “Mile 22” will also feature the presence of Indonesian actor Iko Uwais, star of the film “The Raid” and who will also participate in the new “Star Wars” trilogy.
This will be Ronda's fourth job in Hollywood. Before “Mile 22”, the blonde had already starred in “Fast and Furious 7”, “The Expendables 3” and “Entourage”. Before shooting the film, however, Rousey has an appointment with the Brazilian Beth Pitbull on August 1st. On that date, the champion puts her belt on the line at the HSBC Arena, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), in the main fight of UFC 190.
