To this day, UFC 100 is a milestone in the organization's history. Held in 2009, the event headlined by welterweight belt disputes between Georges St Pierre e Thiago Pitbull, and heavyweights, among Brock Lesnar e Frank mir, sold an incredible 1,6 million packages pay-per-view, to this day a record not only for the event, but for MMA. However, president Dana White believes that the brand can easily be broken if a fight finally happens: the long-awaited duel between the two greatest fighters of today Chris Cyborg e Ronda Rousey.

“I don't know who would win, and I think that's why the fight is so exciting. There's no denying that Cyborg is a monster, and many believe, including me, that Ronda is the best fighter of all time. So it's one of those super intriguing clashes. And I can tell you one thing: when it happens, this fight will sell more than two million pay-per-view packages”, said the director, in an interview with the “Jim Rome Show”.
Ronda and Cyborg are considered the biggest names in women's MMA today, but they compete in different weight categories and events, the Brazilian in the Invicta FC featherweight and the North American in the UFC bantamweight. However, Cyborg recently closed an agreement with the company that controls Ultimate in which he defined his future so that he will soon reach the Octagon, move down a category and finally face Rousey for the belt.
