Through your official profile on Twitter, the Brazilian's title challenger José Aldo released an image and appealed to his fans in Ireland to vote in favor of equal rights in civil marriage, which would legalize unions between people of the same sex, in the referendum that will take place on May 22nd.
“My team (Straight Blast Gym, SBG Ireland) and I are asking everyone to please vote yes for equality! Every human deserves equal rights. We are all one!”, the fighter published on his profile on the microblogging network, along with a drawing in which he appears alongside his companions, such as fellow UFC fighters Cathal Pendred and Aisling Daily, training and coach John Kavanagh, leader of SBG, in support of the cause.
Conor McGregor returns to the octagon on July 11th, when he challenges the Brazilian José Aldo in the highly anticipated main fight of UFC 189. In his career, the Irishman has a record of 17 wins and two losses.
