Involved in a controversial traffic stop last month, Jon Jones He was stripped of the UFC light heavyweight title and has been suspended from fighting for an indefinite period of time until he resolves his disputes with the courts. This scenario raised doubts on the part of the fighter's manager, who stated that there is a possibility that Jones would never return to the octagon again. However, the now former champion's training partner, Carlos Condit, believes that “Bones” will, indeed, return to active duty as soon as he solves his problems.

In an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting”, Condit, who also trains at Jackson's MMA, stated that he saw Jones motivated to resume his career in the future. “Jon shows up at the gym every now and then, which is good. I like seeing you there. He's having to deal with a crazy situation. Having him in the gym doing what he does best, training, is a good thing. I spoke to him briefly, but not about the accident. He said 'I'm going back, I'm going back'. I believe in him, there is no doubt. I think there’s a good chance,” Condit revealed.
