It didn't take long for Rafael dos Anjos being challenged for the first time shortly after winning the UFC lightweight belt, last Saturday (14). Moments after mastering Anthony Pettis and if he becomes champion of the under-70 kg division, the Brazilian heard from his last tormentor, Khabib Nurmagomedov, the desire to repeat the fight, this time putting the title at stake.

Nurmagomedov and Dos Anjos faced each other in April last year, at UFC on FOX 11. The Russian ended up winning the judges' decision and was credited with competing for the title, but an injury took him out of action and put Dos Anjos himself, who obtained three consecutive victories since then, in the fight for the title.
In your account at Twitter, Nurmagomedov recognized the Brazilian's merits in winning the title, but assured that the belt will be in his hands later this year. “Congratulations to Rafael and the whole of Brazil for the belt. You really deserved it. Now work on your wrestling, because I'm going for the belt. The first belt is going to Europe. Two will be in Europe at the end of the year,” he wrote, referring to the achievement of Joanna Jedrzejczyk at the same event, taking the women's straw belt.
Before worrying about Dos Anjos, Nurmagomedov will have a tough challenge ahead of him: he will face Donald Cerrone at UFC 187, in May, being able to guarantee the right to fight for the belt in the event of a new victory.
