Erick Silva has a new opponent at UFC Fight Night 62: veteran Josh Koscheck

Veteran of the first edition of TUF accepted the challenge with just two weeks to go until the fight

the capixaba Erick silva he already has a new opponent for UFC Fight Night 62, scheduled for March 21, in Rio de Janeiro. After Ben Saunders was injured and out of action, the show's organizers acted quickly and called up the veteran Josh koscheck.

Koscheck, 37 years old, is a participant in the first edition of TUF. He reached the semi-finals of the tournament, but reached the peak of his career in 2010 when he challenged for the welterweight belt and was defeated by the Canadian Georges St Pierre. He has a record of 17 wins and nine losses, but is going through a bad moment with four losses in a row.

In turn, Erick, who has a professional record of 17 wins and five losses, is trying to score his second consecutive victory for the first time in the UFC. In his last fight he defeated Mike Rhodes, in December of last year.

The main fight of UFC Fight Night 62 will be between welterweights Demian Maia and Ryan LaFlare.
