Just under a month and a half away, UFC Fight Night 62, which takes place on March 21 in Rio de Janeiro, saw the addition of three new fights this Tuesday (10). Among the announced clashes are two fights involving Brazilian athletes and an unusual duel between two foreigners.

The duel between “gringos” will be attended by Colombian Freddy Serrano and Bolivian Bentley Syler, both former participants in the reality show The Ultimate Fighter Latin America.
This will be only the fourth time in almost 20 events since Ultimate returned to Brazil, in 2011, that the organization will promote a fight without a Brazilian athlete, the other three were: Yves Jabouin x Ian Loveland at UFC Rio, in 2011; Santiago Ponzinibbio x Ryan LaFlare at UFC Goiânia, in 2013; and Diego Rivas x Rodolfo Rubio at UFC Uberlândia, in November last year.
In addition to the fight between the South American rivals, the other two fights announced for the card were: Kevin Souza x Katsunori Kikuno, in the featherweight category, and Jorge Blade x Christos Giagos, in the lightweight division.
UFC Fight Night 62 takes place on March 21st, at Ginásio do Maracanãzinho, in Rio de Janeiro. In the main fight of the night, the former middleweight title challenger Demian Maia faces the undefeated American Ryan LaFlare. The fight will be valid in the welterweight category.
