Jon Jones He didn't enter the Octagon this weekend, but he was certainly one of those who most celebrated the results of UFC on FOX 14, held in the early hours of this Sunday (25th) in Stockholm, Sweden. This because Alexander Gustafson e Phil Davis, two of his potential future opponents and with whom he has exchanged provocations in the past, were defeated at the event.

To Gustafsson, defeated by Anthony Johnson by technical knockout, the champion didn't miss an opportunity to return a poke. When Jones defeated Daniel Cormier at UFC 182 at the beginning of the month, the Swede wrote in his Twitter who had not been impressed with his rival's performance. This time, Jones responded in kind, posting “not impressive, Alex”, a message that he deleted moments later.

Against Davis, Jones made fun of the athlete's nickname, called “Mr. Wonderful” (in Portuguese, 'Mr. Wonderful'). After his compatriot's defeat to Ryan bader, in the judges' split decision, the champion proved: “Wonderful? I think it’s time to get a new nickname.”

The only one who escaped the provocations was Johnson, who has already been confirmed by the UFC as his next opponent. “Man, this fight is going to be incredible,” said the champion, responding to a message from a follower.
