Consecrated in almost ten years of existence and dozens of seasons already held, the The Ultimate Fighter, the UFC's official reality show, is set to undergo drastic changes starting from its 21st season in the United States. According to the SUPER FIGHTS with sources linked to the Ultimate organization, a drastic reformulation of the program's format is being studied, which has remained practically unchanged since the first edition.

The main change in the new TUF would be the end of the pre-selection of athletes by the organization and their subsequent division into teams led by big names from the biggest MMA event on the planet. In the new format, instead of teams we would have academies, which would place athletes from their camps in the reality show tournament until the title decision.
Also according to the source, who asked to have his identity preserved, some academies in the United States were already being approached for the program, such as American Top Team and blackzilians, but there is no agreement signed so far. Furthermore, as the hammer has not yet been dropped on the decision, there is still no premiere date for the new TUF.
The next confirmed season of The Ultimate Fighter is Brazilian, and will be recorded in Las Vegas (USA) in traditional ways. TUF Brasil 4, scheduled to air in the first half of 2015, will feature former Chute Boxe teammates Anderson Silva e Mauritius Shogun as coaches. Contrary to what usually happens, Anderson and Shogun will not face each other after the program. The duo should even be present on the card that closes the reality show, but facing other opponents.
