Willing to put his hurt feelings aside, the Brazilian surprised and stated that he was rooting for the Irishman's successful return against Michael chandler. Protagonists of UFC 303, the athletes will face each other on June 29, in Las Vegas (USA).
“I always root for the guys I fought and those who beat me. This just proves that I lost to champions. I hope he gives a great performance, I hope he can come back and be the Conor he always was in there: the aggressive guy, who fights to end fights as soon as possible, not leaving it in the hands of the judges. So, I hope he gives a great performance, that he can come back again and be the champion”, said Aldo in an interview with MMAJunkie.
