“The UFC promised to put me on the Abu Dhabi card (UFC 242) with Khabib (Nurmagomedov) and Islam (Makhachev), but Dana White said he didn't have room for me. Khabib said 'Okay, I'm going to tear up my contract now, I'm going to give my place to Zubaira'. It would be his first good paycheck and I said 'Please don't do that!'. Then, Hunter Campbell called me, said he respected Khabib's decision and decided to withdraw some fights to let me in,” said Tukhugov.
