Two of the best wrestlers in the light heavyweight division will finally square off inside the octagon. Fifth place in the official ranking of the category, Phil Davis will face Ryan bader, the seventh, on the main card of UFC on FOX 14, which will take place on January 24th in Stockholm, Sweden.

Davis, 30 years old, was the NCAA Division I champion in 2008. He has been competing in the UFC since 2010, having already defeated names like Alexander Gustafson, Rogério Minotouro, Lyoto Machida and most recently Glover Teixeira. Davis only suffered two defeats in his career, to Rashad evans e Anthony Johnson.
A year older, Bader has already received the title of All-American twice, in 2004 and 2006. TUF 8 champion, the North American has been fighting in the UFC since 2008 and has already won Rogério Minotouro, Quinton jackson, Rafael Feijão e Ovince St Preux. Interestingly, his two most recent losses came to fighters who were already beaten by Davis: Lyoto Machida e Glover Teixeira.
The main fight of UFC on FOX 14 will be between local idol Alexander Gustafson against Anthony Johnson. The duel between Dan Henderson e Gegard Mousasi, among the midfielders.
