Arman Tsarukyan takes first place and Max Holloway debuts in the lightweight rankings after UFC 300

The lightweight division (up to 70,3 kg) has a new number one challenger. After defeat Charles of the Bronx on the main card of history UFC 300, last Saturday (13), at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas, Arman Tsarukyan took first place in the ranking of the category in an update promoted in the early hours of this Tuesday (16).

Previously placed fourth, Tsarukyan left behind Dustin poirier, Justin gaethje and, of course, himself Charles of the Bronx to become the first name below the champion Islam makhachev in the division.

This does not mean, however, that Tsarukyan will be the next title challenger. Right after the UFC 300, Dana White confirmed, in a press conference, the dispute between Islam makhachev e Dustin poirier as the main fight of UFC 302, on June 01st.
