Kayla Harrison responds to Amanda Nunes, Cris Cyborg and is willing to face both fighters

Provoked by Brazilians, Olympic judo champion does not hesitate to open the door to face them in the future in the UFC

After a gala premiere at UFC 300, Kayla harrison seems to have lit a flame in Amanda nunes e Chris Cyborg for a possible duel. Former training partner of the 'Leoa' and declared rival of the Curitiba native, the judoka did not hesitate when declaring interest in facing them in the future in Ultimate. Despite her desire, the American reinforced that she will first need the belt.

“I didn't see what Cyborg published, but every reporter showed me Amanda's reaction. I didn't challenge Amanda because she's not a UFC champion. She retired. I thought she was happy being retired. I would love to win the UFC title and if Amanda wants to come back, I would welcome her with open arms,” declared Harrison in a post-fight press conference.

Confident in her abilities, Kayla maintained the same stance regarding the possible fight against Cyborg.

“I'm open to that too. I really want to win the title and after that I’m all for it,” she concluded.

Multi-time Olympic champion and winner of two PFL tournaments, Kayla debuted in Ultimate defeating Holly holm in a violent way. After the feat, Cyborg expressed his desire to face the winner of the eventual duel between Harrison x Nunes.

On the other hand, Amanda made an enigmatic recording, where he filmed the moment of the North American victory  and expressed discomfort at not hearing his name in defiance from the athlete. The reaction generated expectations of the 'Lionea's' possible return to the octagon, after retirement in 2023.
