The great day has come. This Thursday (4), PFL 1 2024 opens the new season of the Professional Fighters League. Directly from San Antonio, Texas, in the United States, the organization's first event of the year features the opening rounds of the women's heavyweight (up to 120,2 kg) and flyweight (up to 56,7 kg) tournaments.
In the main fight of the night, the 2022 PFL heavyweight champion Before Delija faces Valentin Moldavsky, former interim Bellator champion, who makes his debut in the decagon after the merger between the organizations.

The event features four representatives from Brazil. On the main card, former Bellator champion Juliana Velasquez makes it back-to-back trilogy against veteran Liz Carmouche, holder of the belt. On the preliminary card, heavyweight Marcelo Golm faces Daniel James, while former UFC Taila Santos measures forces with compatriot ex-Bellator Illara Joanne.
