The controversial struggle with Chris Weidman at UFC Atlantic City continues to cause problems for the middleweight (up to 83,9kg) Bruno Blindado. In an interview with 'MMA Fighting', the Brazilian athlete surprised by revealing that he lost 30% of his vision in the clash last Saturday (30) and once again asked the organization to change the result of the duel to a 'no-contest'.

“Weidman poked both of my eyes and the exam showed that I lost 30% of my vision in one of my eyes. But the doctor doesn't think it's permanent, he thinks it will come back quickly. I’ll have to go back there next week for another test,” said Blindado.
The middleweight was discouraged about a reunion with the former champion but once again asked for the official result of the fight to be changed.
“We think it is difficult for Chris Weidman accept a rematch, but a no-contest would be the fairest. Let's see what the UFC does. I just want things to be done the right way, the fair way. I went there, I fought and you saw no malice on my part”, concluded the Brazilian.
At UFC Atlantic City, which took place last Saturday (30), Blindado was defeated in a controversial technical decision by the former champion Chris Weidman. The Brazilian complained a lot about the central referee for not deducting points or even warning the 'All-American' after three illegal fingers in the Brazilian athlete's eye.
