Grace Tourinho will leave the general management of the UFC in Brazil in November

Less than a year after assuming the role of general director of the UFC in Brazil, executive Grace Tourinho will leave her position. The reason why Tourinho will leave the organization's Brazilian staff was not revealed.

According to columnist Lauro Jardim, from the “Radar Online” column on the “ Veja ” magazine website, Grace, who took charge of the organization in Brazil in November 2013, will leave her role in November. According to the journalist, the expectation is that the name of his replacement will be announced in the coming weeks.

According to the North American website “MMA Fighting”, until a new general director takes over in Brazil, the person responsible for the organization in the country will be UFC international development director Marshall Zelaznik, who will be in charge of the role.

Until the end of this year, the UFC has two more events scheduled for Brazil: on November 8th in Uberlândia (MG), with the main fight between Mauritius Shogun and Jimi Manuwa; and on December 20th, closing the 2014 calendar, in Barueri (SP), with Lyoto Machida x CB Dollaway heading the card.
