Hold on to your chair and control your anticipation until November 17th, a Monday. Because, through a statement released to the North American press, the Ultimate organization announced a special event for the date in Las Vegas (USA) and promised a big announcement for the date. More details will be released next Wednesday (05).
The information raised the possibility that the announcement may have something to do with UFC 180 – which takes place just two days before and marks the debut of the most famous octagon on the planet in Mexico. However, no connection with the event was confirmed by the invitation.
Among the main speculations raised are: a possible return of the sales record holders in pay-per-view Georges St Pierre e Brock Lesnar, the hiring of muse Gina Carano, the announcement of the coaches for the next season of the reality show The Ultimate Fighter, the announcement of the much talked about uniforms for fighters in partnership with a sporting goods giant, a major event in a new venue or news on the online streaming service UFC Fight Pass.
