Amid the drama experienced in the flyweight category (up to 56,7kg.), Brandon royval claims to be ready to save the main fight of the UFC 301. Despite not having an official presence, Alexandre pantoja expects to defend the title in this edition. According to the American, the medical examinations were successful enough to allow him to fight on May 4th.
“Knees released. I beat the number one in the ranking by taking the fight at the last minute, in his own country. I will never be pressured again. UFC 301 it’s my chance”, declared Royval on his official account 'X' (old Twitter).

In response to the statement, a netizen warned Brandon about a possible threat that Muhammad Mokayev may become if it triumphs over Alex Perez this Saturday (2). Confident, Royval mitigated possible breach of expectations.
“No disrespect to anyone, but a win over someone who hasn’t beaten anyone on the current UFC roster doesn’t mean much,” he responded.

Current first place in the ranking after defeating Brandon Moreno No. UFC Mexico, Royval has a positive nod from Alexandre pantoja for a duel in Rio de Janeiro on May 4th. Victorious over the Mexican, the North American was closely watched by the champion who was present in the arena and stated that the winner would become the next challenger.
