After the Brazilian said that the Palestinian descendant did not deserve to be the category's next challenger, Belal needled the Brazilian and accused him of 'not stopping crying' since defeating him in the UFC 288.

“The UFC has to put on the best fights and I honestly don't think Belal deserves to fight for the title,” Durinho told 'Middle Easy' channel.
On his Twitter, Belal responded quickly and used a provocative tone to accuse the Brazilian of 'just crying' since defeating him in the UFC 288.
“This bum didn’t do anything. But he's been crying ever since he lost the fight and complaining about the couch. I knew you were terrible and it would be easy,” Belal replied.
Belal and Durinho faced each other on the main card of UFC 288, which took place in May 2023. The Brazilian fighter injured his shoulder in the first minutes of the confrontation and was largely dominated by his rival, who emerged victorious in the judges' unanimous decision.
