Mackenzie Dern speaks out after being defeated in an epic battle against Amanda Lemos

Fighter promises to return stronger in her next performance and highlights 'Fight of the Night' award at UFC 298

Protagonists of 'Fight of the Night' in UFC 298, Mackenzie dern e Amanda lemos held an epic battle in the Octagon in Anaheim, California (USA). Despite posing danger to her opponent at various times during the fight, the jiu-jitsu world champion ended up being defeated in a unanimous decision by the judges. On her social networks, the athlete spoke about her defeat and promised to come back stronger.

“'Fear defeats more people than anything else in the world. 'The results were not what I was expecting! Thank you everyone for all your support! I love doing what I do. Now, it's time to correct the mistakes and continue the hard work! Congratulations to Amanda lemos for an incredible fight! In a duel that lasted three rounds, Mackenzie impressed after enduring violent attacks from Amanda and remaining active in the fight, looking for the submission. Despite the good moments experienced while the fight was on the ground, the fighter was unable to overcome the damage caused by her compatriot while she was standing. In the judges' view, Dern lost two of three rounds.
