Irritated by inactivity, Cris Cyborg promises to announce a new fight next week

The female MMA legend once again criticized Bellator and PFL and promised to announce a new boxing fight next week

In the past few weeks, Chris Cyborg He started to complain vehemently about not having had any fights scheduled after the purchase of Bellator by the PFL. On her Twitter, the female MMA legend once again criticized both organizations and announced that she will release the date of her next boxing fight next week.

“With no opportunities to return to the PFL or Bellator during the first half of 2024, I will be announcing my return to boxing with a fight announcement next week,” Cyborg wrote.

At 38 years old, Cyborg is one of the most experienced athletes in the history of women's MMA. The Curitiba native is a former Strikeforce, Bellator, Invicta and UFC champion and has a record in the sport of 27 wins and just two losses, to Amanda nunes and for Erica Nunes, in her debut in the sport, in the distant year of 2005.

In professional boxing, Cyborg is still undefeated with three victories in three fights, over Simone da Silva, Gabrielle Holloway and Kelsey Wikstrum, two of which were by judge's decision and one by knockout.
