Since retiring from MMA for an indefinite period of time in December last year, the Canadian Georges St Pierre has been constantly linked to speculation about his possible return to the octagon. Those anxiously awaiting GSP's return received a good indication this Wednesday (15), when the former welterweight champion was spotted meeting with UFC management at a restaurant in the city of Montreal, where he lives.

The information was released by Canadian journalist Steven Chmielash, in his profile on Twitter. “I was walking around St. Antoine and through the window of a restaurant I see Dana White, Georges St Pierre and others eating. #Montreal”, he published. Earlier, Dana himself had already announced on his personal profile on the microblogging network that he would be in Canada for a meeting with Lorenzo Fertitta, but did not comment on its content.

At 33, Georges St Pierre has a professional record of 25 wins and two losses. Former welterweight champion, the Canadian relinquished his title shortly after his victory over John hendricks at UFC 167, an event that marked the organization's 20th anniversary. To justify his decision, GSP cited personal problems and the doping scenario in sport.
