“I feel much more prepared and disciplined in this camp. Just, for whatever reason, it will just be easier. It has a date. I have a mission. I'm on a mission to kill Chito and I'm going to do everything right to make sure that happens. God, I wonder if Chito will show up. Which Chito will appear? I'll show up. I appear. I don’t run away,” O’Malley said.

The first duel between O’Malley and Vera took place in August 2020. At the time, the American suffered a knee injury during the confrontation and ended up being knocked out in the first round.

Now as champion, Sean called for a rematch and it has already been made official by Ultimate. The two fighters will share the octagon again in the main fight of the UFC 299, scheduled for March 09th. The show will be held in Miami, Florida (USA).
