The UFC bantamweight division has gained yet another rivalry. Former category champion Dominick Cruz stated that he is prepared to face as many times as necessary the members of the Team Alpha Male gym, where the current champion of the division trains, TJ Dillashaw.

Cruz is a longtime rival of another fighter on the team, Urijah faber, against whom he has already had two fights, with one victory and one defeat. After defeating Takeya Mizugaki at UFC 178 in September, Cruz made a pun on the team's name by calling it Alpha Fail, which caused outrage from the current category champion. However, Cruz stated that he already accepts that the rivalry is something that will be part of his immediate future in the UFC.

“This has been something for a long time. The truth is that I cut off one's head and another one continues to appear. So, I already realized that I'm going to fight these guys. If it's against all of them, OK, so be it. I have a good record against his fighting style, and it's nothing personal when it comes to TJ Dillashaw. He has my belt and thinks it's his, but it's not. So, it’s me against Team Alpha Male”, said Cruz, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Junkie”.

After the overwhelming victory over Mizugaki, Cruz should be the next challenger for Dillashaw's belt. However, the UFC has not yet confirmed the date of the fight.
