Seeking recovery after defeat in his last fight, the Brazilian Rafael dos Anjos he will have a very tough opponent in his return to lightweight (up to 70,3kg). According to the official Ultimate website, the former champion will face the dangerous Pole Mateusz gamrot No. UFC 299, which takes place on March 09th, in Miami, United States.

Owner of the lightweight belt between 2015 and 2016, Rafael is going through an irregular moment within the UFC with two defeats in his last three fights, to Fiziev and Vincent Luque. A UFC athlete since 2008, Dos Anjos has 34 fights wearing the organization's gloves with 21 victories and 13 setbacks.
Sixth placed in the lightweight rankings, Gamrot comes from two consecutive victories in Ultimate and has emerged victorious in six of his last seven engagements in the Octagon. The Polish fighter arrived in Ultimate in 2020 and, since then, has won six victories and suffered only two defeats. As a sports professional, Mateusz has a record of 23 triumphs, two setbacks and one 'no-contest'.
O UFC 299 will take place on March 09, 2024, in Miami (USA). The main fight will be a long-awaited rematch between the bantamweight champion (up to 61,2k) Sean O'Malley and the Ecuadorian Marlon Vera.
