Frustrated after having a challenge ignored by Max Holloway, aljamain sterling opened the game and talked about the scenario with the former featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg). Despite having respectfully called the Hawaiian for confrontation, 'Funk Master' did not receive the expected reciprocity and demonstrated his willingness to move on and look for other challenges in his new division.
“I think I got some clarity today. I spoke to my manager, my fiancée, and we kind of went through some things and scenarios. One of the things we realized is that maybe Max's fight won't come to fruition. Right now, I just think he has greater opportunities in the sense of whether or not he's moving up a weight class or the opportunity if he were to wait and see what happens between Topuria and Alexander Volkanovsky No. UFC 297”, reflected Sterling on his channel YouTube.

As he continued speaking, Sterling pointed out Calvin kattar top second option for your plans.
“(…), but who will I fight next at featherweight, it could be Calvin kattar. If you want to pass on a message to me, respectfully. Former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg.), aljamain sterling recently announced that he will no longer perform in the category he reigned. Willing not to compete with Merab Dvalishvili, the athlete is looking to achieve a second title in the organization and wants to face fighters who will quickly put him in a possible confrontation against the champion.
