For the “Spider”, the reason for Aldo’s defeat may have been due to “personal factors” that have not yet been revealed, which may have influenced the Brazilian’s attitude in the fight.

Rivalry between Aldo x McGregor

The fight was marked by an intense rivalry, which involved provocations, insults and even a world publicity tour. The Irishman, who was the interim champion of the category, challenged the Brazilian, who was the linear and undefeated champion for ten years.
