After a great comeback, Dominick Cruz challenges TJ Dillashaw for the UFC belt

Cruz was away from the Octagon for three years due to injury and needed 61 years to beat Takeya Mizugaki

But after his great performance at UFC 178, when he knocked out Takeya Mizugaki in just 61 seconds, the 'Dominator', as he is known, will have the chance to regain his reign.

UFC president, Dana White, announced at the UFC 178 press conference, in the early hours of this Sunday, that Dominick Cruz will be the champion's next challenger TJ Dillashaw.

“No one does that to (Takeya) Mizugaki. Nobody. And he didn't lose his belt fighting, he's the unluckiest man in the world. He is the guy. Yes (to face Dillashaw)”, declared Dana
