Known for his versatile and provocative style, Michael 'Venom' Page catches the attention of fans with his overwhelming presentations and knockouts. Former member of Bellator, the athlete is hoping to sign a contract with UFC and join the organization's welterweight squad (up to 77,1kg). Despite the interest, the athlete states that they still have some 'obstacles' that prevent them from closing negotiations with Ultimate.
“I wish I could say for sure that we signed it, but we didn’t. Honestly speaking, we're not there yet. There are still some obstacles we need to overcome. But, like I said, we’re flirting,” Michael said in an interview with 'The MMA Fan Show Podcast'.

When talking about his ambition to join the UFC, Michael explained that confrontations are worth more than the 'brand'.
“It’s hard to say (if this is the dream). I think there are dream fights, and a lot of those dream fights land in the UFC. When I got into MMA, the goal was the UFC, because there was no other big show that could really do anything. Over time, things changed. It's much more than just the brand name. But hopefully we can still get there and see those dream fights happen,” he concluded.
At 36, Michael Page comes from a devastating victory over Goiti Yamauchi. In a great career for Bellator, the athlete achieved 17 victories and suffered two setbacks. Despite his success in martial arts, the Englishman never had the opportunity to compete for the organization's linear belt.
