In preparation for a crucial duel in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2kg), Deiveson Figueiredo impressed his followers by publishing a photo (see below) in your Instagram, where he appears in a different physical shape than the MMA community was used to seeing. Former flyweight champion (up to 56,7kg), the Brazilian changed divisions after having problems with weight cutting and consequently with his health.
“It’s too strong”, reacted one account.
“Shape is insane, let’s go Daico”, said a Brazilian.
“The guy is really excited about the change of category”, replied a follower.

Inactive since suffering a serious eye injury in a duel against Brandon Moreno, UFC 283, Deiveson is preparing to seek a second title in the organization. After failing to reach an agreement to face Dominick Cruz, the athlete was selected for a duel against Rob font, currently ranked eighth in the bantamweight rankings.
Considered an underdog in the bookmakers, the Brazilian returns to the octagon on December 2, to face the North American in the ufc austin. At a time of ups and downs in his career, Deiveson faces a different athlete than Brendon Moreno after three years and four fights. The confrontation will last three rounds and the fighters will be present on the main card of the event.
