Malhadinho confirms promise and challenges former champion after victory at UFC São Paulo

Still in the octagon of the Ibirapuera Gymnasium, the Brazilian prospect asked for a confrontation against Frenchman Ciryl Gane and said he doesn't care about the location of the clash

even before the UFC Sao Paulo, the brazilian Jailton Malhadinho had already announced who his next target would be: the Frenchman Cyryl Gane. After hitting Derrick Lewis on this Saturday's card (04), the heavyweight (up to 120,2kg) challenged the former interim champion of the category and emphasized that he doesn't care about the location of the confrontation.

“It could be in France, it could be in Salvador, it could be wherever. I'm ready and I said: I'm here to stay. I don't want to be another one, brother. It’s God in front, I punch him in the head and crush him on the floor”, said Malhadinho.

Current ninth place in the category, Malhadinho remains undefeated in five fights in Ultimate, with the triumph being in UFC Sao Paulo the first one that goes on the judges' sheets. At 32 years old, the Brazilian has a record of 20 positive results, 12 by submission and seven by knockout, and two negative results as a professional in the sport.
