The ceremonial weighing of the UFC Sao Paulo, which takes place this Saturday (4/10), at the Ginásio do Ibirapuera, was marked by the excitement of the fans and the provocation of the fighters.
The Brazilian fans, who filled the place, made a point of supporting the national athletes and antagonizing foreigners, especially the English ones. Marc Diakiese, who reacted with an obscene gesture.

The event, which started at 18pm, was attended by several MMA personalities, such as Mayra Sheetara e Gilbert Durinho, who took photos and signed autographs for fans.
O dream of Mateus
Many of them came from far away to watch the show, like Mateus Santos, 27 years old, who left Mossoró, in Rio Grande do Norte, and needed around 40 hours to arrive in São Paulo.
“It’s my first UFC event and it all seemed so far away. Now, it has become real. It’s a dream come true,” he said, and managed to take a photo with his idol Charles of the Bronx, who was a special guest and even appeared on the Q&A of UFC Sao Paulo.
In addition to watching the stares and taking photos with the fighters, fans were also able to have fun with other attractions at the weigh-in venue. One of them was the machine that measures the strength of punches, which challenged the bravest to test their blows.
Many got excited and punched the machine with all their might, trying to beat the professionals' records. Others were content to watch and cheer on their friends. The line to participate was long, but it was worth it for the experience.
Another attraction was the UFC Store, an official store that sold exclusive UFC products, such as t-shirts, caps, gloves, dolls and much more. Fans took the opportunity to buy souvenirs from the event and show their passion for MMA.
The store had a variety of items for all tastes and budgets, from the simplest to the most sophisticated. Some products were personalized with the names and photos of fans' favorite fighters. The UFC Store also had a considerable queue, but fans didn't mind waiting to secure their products.

"Uh will die"
The atmosphere of rivalry between Brazil and the Rest of the World was evident during the confrontations, which were tense and full of provocations. The fans did not spare the foreigners from booing and shouting “Uh, he's going to die”, while the Brazilians responded with smiles and gestures of confidence. The highlight was Marc Diakiese, who showed the middle finger to the audience after facing the Brazilian Kaue Fernandes.

UFC Sao Paulo
O UFC Sao Paulo promises to be a spectacle of emotion and adrenaline, both for the fighters and the fans, who hope to see the Brazilians shine in the octagon. The event will start at 19pm, with the preliminary card, and at 22pm, with the main card.
As usual in events held in Brazil, all 11 fights in the UFC Sao Paulo have Brazilian representatives. In addition to Jailton Malhadinho, the card highlights names like Caio Borralho, Gabriel Marretinha, Rudolph Vieira e Elizeu Capoeira.
