After leaving Charles of the Bronx do UFC 294, the renowned agent criticized the Brazilian and said that the current champion 'BMF' should be the next challenger in the lightweight division (up to 70,3kg).

The businessman took a slight dig at Do Bronx but said that the Brazilian lost his opportunity to fight for the belt and urged him to Justin gaethje face the winner of Islam makhachev x Alexander Volkanovsky.
“I don't blame him for not fighting, because he (Do Bronx) was going to get crushed again. This was a good way to not go to Abu Dhabi and experience the same thing again. He had said publicly: 'I'm not going to Abu Dhabi, I won't be ready, I need more time'. Remember that? After that, the UFC worked magic on him, and he agreed, but now he's out. We move on. We have to focus on Volkanovski. It's unfinished business. I believe the next one has to be Justin gaethje. I think the UFC thinks that way too”, concluded the businessman.
Number two in the UFC lightweight ranking, Gaethje is coming off two consecutive victories over Raphael Fiziev e Dustin poirier, where he won the 'BMF' belt (most tough fighter). The North American has an MMA record of 25 wins and just four setbacks.
