Three of the biggest Brazilian stars in the UFC came together for a good cause. The former champions Rodrigo Minotauro, Mauritius Shogun e Junior Gypsy participate on the night of this Tuesday (12) in a benefit dinner promoted by “Atletas Solidários”, which aims to raise funds for the Ingo Hoffmann Institute, which shelters children undergoing intensive cancer treatment and their families in the city of Campinas (SP) .
In addition to the UFC stars, the dinner will also be attended by other big names in the sport, such as: former tennis players Carlos Alberto Kirmayr and Fernando Meligeni, the yachtsmen brothers Lars and Torben Grael, Olympic bronze medalist in volleyball Ana Moser , the five-time champion of stock-car Cacá Bueno, double Olympic silver medalist in basketball Hortência and Paula, Olympic sailing champion Robert Scheidt and former Formula 1 driver Rubens Barrichello.
According to information on the official UFC website, around 200 tickets were put on sale for the event, which takes place at the “Sala São Paulo”, located in the Campos Elísios neighborhood in the capital of São Paulo. Of the amount made available, around half of the entries are still available to individuals or legal entities. The invitations can be purchased on the website www.atletassolidarios.com.br.
