Two athletes who have been climbing the ranks of Ultimate and beat already established names at UFC on FOX 12, last Saturday (26), were responsible for the biggest gains in the most recent update of the organization's official rankings. The featherweight Dennis Bermudez, who won Clay guida, and the light weight Bobby Green, which passed through Josh thomson, rose five and six positions, in that order. Now, both occupy seventh position in their respective categories.
Another highlight in the new version of the list is the presence of Rogério Minotouro. The Brazilian had been removed from the rankings after his long period of inactivity due to a series of back injuries. Even after the relentless defeat suffered last Saturday by Anthony Johnson, with a knockout in just over 40 seconds, Minotouro returned to the top-15 in the light heavyweight category, occupying 14th position.
Other fighters who did not perform at UFC on FOX 12 also benefited from the falls of the athletes defeated on the night, especially Josh thomson e Clay guida. The main cases were the featherweight Conor McGregor, who moved up to ninth in the division, and the lightweight Khabib Nurmagomedov, who is now third among the lightweights.
