Away from the Octagon for more than two years due to a serious leg injury, Conor McGregor continues to add achievements to his extensive CV. Last Monday (4), the 'Notório' was awarded a black belt in jiu-jitsu by his coach John Kavanagh.

“I received my black belt tonight from my coach, friend and mentor John Kavanagh of SBG Ireland! 20 years of hard work! Thank you John for everything over the years and to all my colleagues on this incredible jiu-jitsu journey! Thank you all from the bottom of my heart! A jiu-jitsu black belt, wow! Thanks to God and Hélio (Gracie). I'll be wearing a kimono tomorrow Hélio, I promise and I can't wait!! What a feeling”, wrote the Irishman.
