The National Cup will be held on June 27th and 28th, in São Paulo, a competition organized by the World League Pro Jiu-Jitsu (WLPJJ). The event will have great infrastructure and organization, as one of the entity's proposals is the professionalization of jiu-Jitsu. Therefore, there will be cash prizes, with the black belt finals held in a truly spectacular atmosphere.
Athletes from Rio de Janeiro who want to participate must register through FJJD-RIO, which will form a large delegation to represent the state. The competitors will fight for their teams, but they will be identified as representatives of Rio de Janeiro. In this way, there will be a great opportunity to publicize and project the work carried out by the teams, as the competitions organized by WLPJJ are covered by several specialized press vehicles.
After the formation of the Rio jiu-jitsu team, at the FJJD-Rio State Championship, the National Cup will form the São Paulo team for the challenge, which takes place in August. Therefore, this is the chance for Rio's athletes to meet some of their future opponents.
