Close to holding a long-awaited confrontation after recovering from a brutal knockout, Vincent Luque He was sincere when talking about his stance for the next fight. Escalated to face Rafael dos Anjos, the welterweight standout (up to 77,1kg.) stated that he will be inspired by Justin gaethje and adopt a more strategic and less risky style during combat.
“Yeah, definitely, I think it's a great comparison (to Gaethje) and especially in the sense that these changes that need to be made are in no way something that's going to make my style more boring, or kind of less exciting. This will only make me more dangerous and even more exciting. Because that's exactly what it is, it's taking away the stupid risk, the unnecessary risk, but putting me in a better position to land my shots. And man, when my hands go in, I know the damage I do. So, I'm still going to put that in, but be able to get out, get out of danger and have more exciting fights”, declared Luque during an interview on 'media day'.
