Jiu-jitsu legend, Demian Maia showed that, in addition to being present in the comments of Ultimate events, he also remains active and at a high level in the 'gentle art'. With an eye on Georges St-Pierre's return to martial arts, the Brazilian used his social networks and volunteered to welcome the Canadian at the UFC Fight Pass Invitational 6, edition to be held in December.

You, GSP, are one of the greatest competitors ever, who I respect a lot. I am on the game! Looking forward to competing in the UFC Invitational”, Demian posted on his account on Twitter.

Five-time jiu-jitsu world champion, Demian is known for his flagship grappling. Retired from MMA since 2021, the São Paulo native began to dedicate himself solely to grapple and defeated names like Alex Cowboy Oliveira and Benson Henderson in their last performances, held in 2022.
