As usual, International Fight Week, which ends next Saturday (8) with the UFC 290, served to pay tribute to some of the organization's historic names. Last Thursday (6), in Las Vegas, in the United States, legends of the sport had their names immortalized in the UFC Hall of Fame, including Brazilians Anderson Silva e José Aldo, which starred in an emotional scene.

To the sound of the song 'Run This Town', by rapper Jay-Z, with appearances by Rihanna and Kanye West, which for many years was the soundtrack of his journey to the Octagon, José Aldo He was moved and cried profusely at the entrance to receive the honor.

“It’s very emotional, very difficult to explain. I wanted to come to the UFC and be champion. I achieved much more. There are many dreams happening at the same time”, declared the Brazilian in an interview with North American ESPN after the tribute.

Also honored on the special night, Anderson Silva was unable to attend the event and had his son Kalyl as his representative. The 'Spider' published a video on social media thanking his team, family and fans for his induction into the Ultimate Hall of Fame.
