Highlight in this Saturday's show (1), the Curitiba native had a balanced confrontation with Melissa Gatto, but got the better of her compatriot. After three rounds, the student Amanda nunes was declared the winner in a split decision by the judges.
With the victory, Lipski begins a new sequence of triumphs in the company. Now, the fighter has five victories in 10 challenges in the organization.
Beaten by the native of Curitiba, Gatto suffers the second stumble in a row in the UFC. The São Paulo native accumulates two positive results and two negative results.
Brazilian dispute
The confrontation began with Lipski taking the initiative with a kick to her rival's waistline. The duel was tense, with the fighters saving their attacks and avoiding a possible fatal error. In the final minute, Gatto launched confident attacks, and was more effective than her compatriot. Close to the end of the stage, Melissa shortened her pace and started to press her opponent against the bars, but there was no more time.
In the second round, the fighters began to measure strength at close range, with punches and kicks. Still in the first minute, Lipski tried to corner his opponent close to the bars, and launched kicks and direct shots. Afterwards, Gatto started grappling and pressed his opponent against the bars. The confrontation progressed without much action from either side, until, halfway through the stage, Ariane managed a beautiful fall. Gatto managed to get up quickly and tried to take down her rival again. Near the final minute, the athletes moved away and returned to measuring strength in the center of the Octagon. At the end of the stage, Lipski tried to surprise with a direct combination, followed by a high kick. The round ended with another takedown attempt from Melissa.
In the last round, Lipski surprised him right from the beginning, with a straight and cross. Strategic, Gatto looked for another takedown, but Ariane defended well. Melissa bet on the long-distance confrontation and acted in the counterattack. After almost two minutes, Gatto managed to shorten the match and tried to reach his compatriot's back. Lipski managed to defend himself well and Melissa ended up falling underneath. Afterwards, Ariane allowed her opponent to get up and the fight was fought again in the center of the Octagon. The fight ended with the fighters standing in the center of the cage.

Bet on the future of lightweight (up to 70,3kg.), Grant dawson confirmed his unbeaten record in Ultimate. Opponent of Damir Ismagulov, the fighter had a confident performance and easily overcame his opponent. After three rounds of heated confrontation, the athlete was declared the winner with a unanimous decision by the judges.
With the result, Dawson continues the climb towards the top of the division led by Islam makhachev. Now, the fighter has accumulated nine appearances in the company without ever having suffered a setback.
Dominated in the co-main fight, Ismagulov is expected to lose his position in the rankings to his rival. Before facing Grant, 15th in the group, Damir was in 12th place.
UFC promise beats veteran in judges' decision

Betting on the future of the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg.), Michael Morales went through a weight challenge in the company. Before the veteran Max griffin, the 23-year-old prospect had a solid performance and had the better of the match for much of the match. After three rounds, the Ecuadorian was declared the winner with a unanimous decision by the judges.
The new victory confirms the fighter's good moment. In addition to achieving his third triumph in the company, the fighter defended his unbeaten record in professional MMA, now totaling 15 victories.
A UFC representative since 2016, Griffin didn't make it easy for his promise, but left the octagon with the setback. The fighter now has two stumbles in his last five appearances.
