Back in the UFC almost two years after his dismissal, Kevin Lee expresses anxiety to step back into the most famous octagon in the world. Scheduled to perform this Saturday (01), against Rinat Fakhretdinov, the North American was dissatisfied with Ultimate's stance and highlighted that Apex will not be a favorable place to star in the duel that marks his return.

"I will not lie. I wish it was in front of more fans. I don't know how many people will be at Apex, but it's kind of stupid. I don't know what we're doing. Do you know what I mean? The pandemic is over, I don't know if people got the message or, you know, sent the telegram, but the pandemic is over. I don't know what we're still doing here. I understand there is money, but it's kind of stupid. It's a different energy when there are thousands and thousands of people screaming. It's a different level of feeling. That’s why when I want the Charles Oliveira fight again, it’s a different feeling,” said Lee.

Despite his dissatisfaction, Lee promises to be ready for his return.

“I would like (a large audience) to be present, but I will be content with what I do, and I will go there on Saturday in front of the 200, 300 idiots who want to see me bleed, and we will put on a show”, he concluded.
