Protagonists of an exciting duel in the UFC Jacksonville, Amanda ribas e Maycee barber they only needed two rounds to send the public, fans and fighters into a frenzy. Responsible for the penultimate fight of the event, Maycee and Amanda gave their all from start to finish. After being saved by the bell in the first round, the Brazilian came back more aggressive in the next round and managed to scare her rival. During the exchange of blows, the North American was the one who got the upper hand and forced the referee to interrupt the confrontation, to protect the integrity of the Minas Gerais native.

Ninth placed in the flyweight rankings (up to 56,7kg.), Amanda was unable to maintain a winning streak and was defeated by the 11th in the division. At 29 years old, the athlete suffered the fourth setback in her career.

On the other hand, Barber achieved her fifth consecutive victory and should steal the position occupied by the Brazilian. Present in the UFC since 2018, the athlete takes another step towards her dream title fight.
