With the weekend 'off' in the biggest MMA organizations in the world, the team at SUPER FIGHTS selected the biggest knockouts that occurred in the month of May. Over the past few days, athletes have surprised rivals and excited fans around the world. A Brazilian is highlighted with the biggest 'hit' applied.

1) Carlos Diego Ferreira x Michael Johnson

Featured in UFC Las Vegas 73, Carlos Diego Ferreira entered the octagon under pressure for a positive result. Before facing Michael Johnson, the Amazonian had accumulated three defeats in a row and was at risk of dismissal in the event of another stumble.

After a first round advantage over the North American, the Brazilian achieved redemption in style. Common overhand of rare mastery, the Tupiniquim took the veteran to an immediate knockout, starring in a strong image in the cage.

2) Joaquin Buckley x Andre Fialho

Famous worldwide in MMA for his knockout against Impa Kasanganay, in 2020, Joaquin buckley got ready again UFC Las Vegas 73. Against the aggressive Andrew Fialho, the North American got the better of him and ran over the Portuguese.

Famous for his resistance, Fialho succumbed to the knockout power of Buckley, who made his debut at welterweight (under 77,1kg). After a high kick, Joaquin took his rival to the canvas. Bewildered, the fighter was unable to continue the fight.

3) Ikran Aliskerov x Phil Hawes

Next opponent Paulo borrachinha, Ikran Aliskerov gave proof of what the Brazilian can expect in the clash confirmed for the UFC 291. In his Ultimate debut, the Russian needed less than three minutes to settle the score against phil hawes.

No UFC 288, the fighter was making his debut for the company and produced a brutal outcome against his rival in the first round.

4) Bryan Battle x Gabe Green

No UFC Charlotte, BryanBattle made the confrontation against Gabe Green. After the opponent's reckless action, the fighter adopted a conservative strategy and waited for his opponent's mistake to settle the bill.

With precision, the fighter counterattacked his opponent with a direct strike, which led to his rival's immediate knockout at the beginning of the confrontation.

5) Yan Xiaonan x Jessica Bate-Estaca

Famous for its knockout power, Jessica Pile Driver ended up tasting his own poison in UFC 288. Opponent of yan xiaonan, the former strawweight champion (up to 52,1kg) ended up paying the price for her aggressiveness and succumbed to the Chinese in the first round.

After dodging the Brazilian's attacks, Xiaonan took advantage of the Tupiniquim's carelessness and, with a cross, knocked out her opponent.
