The case of fighter Leandro Lo, cowardly murdered in August last year with a point-blank shot to the head in a nightclub in the city of São Paulo, is still dragging on in court. After the testimonies heard by the courts in March, this Tuesday (23), at 16:45 pm, another hearing will take place at the São Paulo Court of Justice to hear the last defense and prosecution witnesses, in addition to the defendant, PM Henrique Velozo, who has been detained since August 22nd of last year.

After the hearing, the parties will present briefs (closing reasons) and the judge will decide whether the defendant will go to the judge's court or not. After the decision, the defendant can still appeal and, only after the appeal, a hearing in the jury court is scheduled.
Defendant Henrique Velozo surrendered to the Internal Affairs Department and was arrested on August 22, 2022. In the same year, the court accepted the Public Prosecutor's Office's complaint against the PM and made him a defendant in the death of Jiu-Jitsu world champion Leandro Lo. The Public Prosecutor's Office filed a complaint against the police officer for triple homicide, which was accepted by the Court, which converted the police officer's 30-day temporary arrest to preventive detention.
