With a categorical performance, the Irishman made it look easy and brutalized his opponent with a technical knockout in the first round.
With the result, Garry guarantees plenty of reasons to celebrate. The triumph against the North American should see Ian take over his rival's former position in the top 15 welterweight division (up to 77,1kg). In addition to this feat, the fighter extends his unbeaten record in professional MMA, reaching the mark of 12 consecutive victories.

The 'hype' is real
The confrontation began with Garry taking the initiative with a low kick. Still in the first minute, a jab from the Irishman, followed by a cross, cleanly touched the North American's face. With two minutes gone, Ian continued to be more aggressive and walked towards his rival. Halfway through the stage, Garry connected with a high kick, which exploded onto his opponent's head. Daniel accused the attack and collapsed. Ian went up and, after a series of blows, forced the referee to stop the fight.
