North American Tim Kennedy worked for months to get a fight against Michael Bisping. After much provocation, the two finally entered the Octagon and Kennedy came out on top, winning by unanimous decision at the TUF Nations Finale – held this Wednesday (16). After overcoming his British rival, the ex-soldier is already starting to plan his future, planning a fight against the winner of Gegard Mousasi and Mark Muñoz, who fights on May 31st.

“Mark Muñoz and Gegard Mousasi, they are close by. They have a fight coming up. It's a great fight. Unfortunately, my two Strikeforce comrades (Luke Rockhold e Ronaldo Jacare) are in the same situation in the rankings as I am”, said Kennedy at the press conference after the event. The American also explained why he wouldn't want to face the former Strikeforce champions. “I’ve fought both. I want to continue facing UFC guys. So, Mark Muñoz, if he beats Mousasi, it would be a great fight for me. I don't know. I'm going to start challenging the guys for Twitter in five days”, he added, with good humor.

Furthermore, Kennedy also revealed that he believes he fractured his hand in the fight against Bisping and took the opportunity to regret the fact that he was unable to beat his opponent before the end of regulation time. “I think I broke my hand in the first round. I'm still going to do an x-ray. I kind of had to stop being a pussy in the second round, like; 'Ah, my right hand really hurts… Damn it, I'm going to hit him with it.' So my second round was about stopping being a sissy, starting to get myself together and hitting him again,” he revealed. “Michael Bisping He's a very tough guy, but I should have been able to finish him. I was where I was supposed to be, I controlled the distance, but then I stopped and did no harm,” she concluded.
