Less than a week after undergoing surgery on his left knee, the former UFC welterweight champion Georges St Pierre He has already removed the bandages and displays the scars from the intervention. GSP used his official profile on Twitter to publish the image of the operated leg without the bandages.

“The bandages are gone. It feels good!”, published the Canadian along with the image. On April 9, St. Pierre underwent an operation to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee, after injuring himself during training.

Despite meaning time in the yard for GSP, who has been away from MMA for an indefinite period of time since the end of last year, the surgery could mean extra motivation to return to the octagons, in the opinion of the Canadian's coach Firas Zahabi himself.

“The injury could make him want to fight again, because he will be away from training for a long time. It's like if your girlfriend leaves you aside, then you want her more than ever. In MMA it's like that, now he's going to want MMA more than ever. It’s the way, human nature”, stated the leader of “Tristar Gym”, in an interview with the “MMA Junkie” website.
