Lightweight champion in 2022, Larissa pacheco debuted in 2023 at featherweight. And the change of category did not frustrate the Brazilian. In a safe fight, the woman from Pará controlled the Canadian, former Bellator champion on her feet and thwarted her takedown attempts to take the fight to the judges' decision.
Cappelozza beats Buffa in a 100% Brazilian duel

In the co-main fight of PFL 2 2023, Bruno Cappelozza won the 100% Tupiniquim duel against Matheus Buffa. The São Paulo native avenged the setback suffered in the 2022 season and defeated the Paraná native by knockout in the first round. Cappelozza made use of his greater wingspan and better movement in the stand-up fight. He connected with a right cross that opened the way to victory and finished the job on the ground.

In addition to Larissa, Cappelozza and Buffa, Brazil had three more representatives in the PFL 2 2023. Danilo Marques and Evelyn Martins defeated yorgan de castro and Karolina Sobek in the decision, while Renan Problem was surpassed by Rizvan Kuniev.
